Установил Red Hat EL 5 специально для Cache 2007.2.
Поставил туда настройки репозитория EPEL.
И yum c rpm не могут найти libldap-2.2.so.7

Сами библиотеки там есть. Но с другими версиями.

Простая символьная ссылка libldap-2.2.so.7 на libldap-2.3.so.0 не
помогает.

January 7, 2007 - Incorrect Rollback of SET $BIT Operation
InterSystems has corrected several Caché &
Ensemble defects that, in rare instances, can
cause rollback of SET $BIT operations within transactions to corrupt data.
The use of the SET $BIT operation outside of
transactions is not subject to these defects.
These defects exist, to varying degrees, in all
currently released versions. Actual database
updates are performed correctly. Affected
entries in the database are only corrupted by
transaction rollback of the SET $BIT operation.
One defect results in the old data value of a SET
$BIT operation being incorrectly
journalled. This is only of concern when a
rollback is necessary since the old value to be restored is incorrect.
The second defect occurs if two transactions
affecting the same $BIT value are rolled back
concurrently. It is possible for the values to
be applied out of order resulting in an incorrect final value.
The corrections for these defects, identified as
HYY1359, SJ1831, SJ1929 and SJ2281 will all be
included in the upcoming 2008.1 Release. They
are also available from InterSystems WRC in an Ad Hoc distribution.

Caché 2007.1.3 is now available for the following platform:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (SP2) for Itanium
This is the same build (607) that was previously
released for Windows Server 2003 (SP2) on x86-32 and x86-64 systems.

InterSystems Innovator Award
In its tenth year, weve made some changes to the InterSystems Innovator
Awards program. Yes, the Innovator awards will still honor the creativity
and technical expertise of the innovative developers who use our technology...
And yes, the first-, second-, and third-place Innovator Awards will be
presented (accompanied by cash prizes) at DEVCON2008. But this year, the
finalists will also have their winning solutions profiled in a white paper
about the business benefits of building composite applications, which will
be printed in ComputerWorld magazine.
Theres another change. We no longer have separate categories for Caché and
Ensemble. All entries, regardless of the InterSystems product used in their
creation, will be judged together. Our aim is to celebrate innovation,
regardless of how it is achieved.
That judging will be done be a panel of industry experts, led by Bill
Laberis, a VP at ComputerWorld. Mr. Laberis will emcee the presentation of
the Innovator Awards, which will occur during DEVCON2008, March 30th - April
2nd in Orlando Florida.
The deadline for Innovator entries to arrive at our corporate offices in
Cambridge, Massachusetts is Monday, March 3rd, 2008.

Celebrating 30 Years of Innovations
In 1978, we started making innovative software
products with the goal of helping professional
developers be more successful. Judging from the
steady growth of so many of our application
partners - several of whom have been with us
since our inception we are achieving our goal.
We began sponsoring an annual developers
conference 15 years ago. This event has grown
steadily in popularity because it offers the

activities are planned for DEVCON2008. For

Есть ли опыт удалённой работы программистов Cache?
Существует ли такое вообще, и есть ли компании, заинтересованные в таком методе работы?
Работала с MSM с 1993 года, с 2000 - с Cache, после чего пришлось сделать вынужденный перерыв, переехать в другой город, где об этой системе понятия не имеют.
